Sabrina Landreth New GM for EBRPD
East Bay native Sabrina Landreth has been named general manager for the East Bay Regional Parks District. When Landreth starts her role on March 15, she will be the 10th GM in the district's 87-year history – and the first woman ever to hold that position for EBRPD. Landreth succeeds now-retired Robert Doyle, a mainstay with the district for 47 years, including the past decade as its GM. PIDO is looking forward to meeting Landreth and begin working with park leadership to ensure that EBRPD either buys Point Isabel or renews the park’s lease. When the USPS built its Bulk Mail Center near the shoreline, it leased the adjacent land to EBRPD as mitigation, to be used as a public park. The lease expires in 2025.
