PIDO Marks 35 Years, Updates Look
PIDO is marking its 35th anniversary with a new logo, website, and membership drive. Its mission hasn’t changed, though: to preserve Point Isabel as a multi-use park that welcomes off-leash dog walking and other recreation. The main new logo captures several aspects of Point Isabel that visitors regard as iconic: dogs, pelicans, the cypress trees, and the breathtaking views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Marin. A range of PIDO apparel is available at PIDO’s e-store, a collaboration with a local firm, DGH Outfitters, that offers customers a choice of the new PIDO logo or the vintage one. Every purchase helps support PIDO's work to keep Point Isabel clean, safe, and open for off-leash recreational dog walking.
